Ans: I just bought this keyboard and tried any number of combinations suggested: FN/ALT/back, FN/back, FN/insert, and so on. Nothing worked.
Ans: Did you try the small on/off button on the right side toward the back of the keyboard? I only ask because I did not know it was there and had problems with mine at first. I took one back and exchanged it because it would not connect. Now I think it was likely turned off, and I didn’t know.
Ans: They are used to connect it to different devices. After passing it on to up to three devices, pressing a number connects it to the device set to the number packed (and disconnects it from the machine it was connected to).
Ans: It is not apparent, though. The key is in the typical spot but says “Start” instead of the windows symbol. It is also a Role key, so depending on your Fn Lock setting the key might be in another mode.
Ans: If the default settings got changed, with or without knowing, that prevents you from using default function keys (F1 through F12), which I need to use a lot, without keeping the FN key pressed every time, you could change it by pressing FN + ESC key grouping one time to LOCK it. In this technique, you don’t have to use two fingers (e.g., FN + F12) when there is a need to use one of the F1 – F12 keys. Hope this helps someone.
