Rivian Confirms It is on Track to Build 25,000 Electric Vehicles This Year

Rivian R1T electric trucks remained produced on April 11, 2022, at the Company’s plant in Normal, Illinois. Electric vehicle startup Rivian Automotive said it made more than 4,000 vehicles in the second quarter and remains on track to build 25,000 cars by 2022. Rivian shares opened sharply higher and maintained gains, ending the day at $29.66, up 10.4%.
